Jake Levi

Jake Levi is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in software and firmware development, particularly in the telecommunications and utilities sectors. Since November 2017, Jake has served as the Director of Research Development at Itron, Inc., leading a global team in developing networking gear for smart cities and IoT devices. Previously, Jake held various leadership roles at Qualcomm Technologies, overseeing software engineering for automotive and mobile systems, including significant contributions to BlackBerry smartphone commercialization. Jake’s career began at Pacific Data Products, where responsibilities included software design for laser printers. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Medical Device Engineering from UC San Diego, an MBA from the University of Redlands, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from California State University, Northridge.
