John Baston

John Baston is an accomplished leader in program management and training, currently serving as the Director of the Program Management Office at Itron, Inc. since October 2004. With a career that includes various managerial roles, such as Sr. Manager and Sr. Global Manager for Learning, Documentation, & Innovation, John has successfully coached department managers and executed cross-functional learning initiatives. Previous positions include Sr. Training Manager, where John built and managed Itron’s knowledge department, and Principal Consultant, focusing on customer relationships within the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) business. Prior experience includes roles at American Document Management, Lodestar Corporation, and FPL, showcasing a solid background in human resources, training, and business analysis.
