Mark Quan

Mark Quan is a Principal Forecast Consultant at Itron, a position held since 1997, where responsibilities include developing long-term energy and demand forecasts for the electric and natural gas industries, as well as implementing short-term electric forecasting systems. Prior to Itron, Mark Quan worked at Pacific Gas & Electric from 1989 to 1997, holding various roles such as Supervisor of Revenue Requirements, where new financial frameworks for the deregulated electric market were developed, and Supervisor of Power Contracts, managing electric procurement contracts. Earlier positions included Project Manager for Gas Regulatory, Policy, and Analysis, and Resource Analyst in Electric Resources Planning. Mark Quan holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from UCLA and an M.S. in Operations Research from Stanford University.
