Michael Guyre

Michael Guyre is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in firmware and hardware development, primarily within the IoT sector. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Firmware Engineer and Manager of Firmware Engineering at Itron, Inc. since June 2017, Michael leads a team focused on developing DirectLink™ IoT-based load control devices. Prior experience includes managerial roles at Comverge from June 2009 to June 2017, where Michael oversaw the development of innovative product lines utilizing Wi-Fi® and Cellular technologies. Earlier roles involve significant contributions to the design and development of metering products and communication systems at Comverge Technologies Inc. and Lucent Technologies. Michael co-founded Comverge Technologies Inc. and holds an AAS degree in Digital Electronics from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Morrisville.
