Xi Chen

XI (Allison) CHEN is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in communication software development, currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Itron, Inc. since January 2018. Prior roles at Itron include Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and Software Engineer. Prior to Itron, XI worked as a Software Developer at Silver Spring Networks from April 2015 to January 2018, and completed an internship as a Software Engineer at Beijing Consen Automation Control Co., Ltd. in mid-2013, where communications software for traffic control devices was implemented and tested. Education includes a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southern California and dual Bachelor's Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Queen Mary University of London.
