Robert O'Neal

Robert O'Neal has over 25 years of experience in various roles related to cyber security, network engineering, and communications. Robert'scurrent position is as a Program Manager and Cyber Operations SME at ITS, LLC. Prior to this, they worked as a Cyber Security Engineer and Operations Planner at SAIC, a Cyberspace Operations & Training specialist at ManTech, and a Cloud Engineer at Ready Support Services. Robert started their career in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller and held various positions related to network operations and boundary protection. Robert also worked at The David Group, Inc. as a Senior Network Engineer & Program Manager. Throughout their career, they have gained experience in planning, analyzing, and securing communication systems and networks.

Robert O'Neal earned an Associate's degree in Electrical Systems Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, and later obtained an Associate's degree in Military Information Systems Technology from the same institution. Robert then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Technology and a Master of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management, both from the University of Maryland Global Campus. O'Neal has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and CISSP certifications, and completed courses to prepare for the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (EX200) Exam and related certifications.
