Ernest Cloud

Ernest Cloud has over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and public safety. Since January 2006, Ernest has served at the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) as Major and previously held the position of Lieutenant. Prior to MARTA, Ernest worked as a Probation Officer II with the Georgia Department of Corrections - Probation Division from December 1999 to January 2006. Ernest holds a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Administration from Columbus State University (2018-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Valdosta State University (1991-1996). Educational background also includes attendance at Cairo High School (1988-1991) and Thomasville High School (1987-1988).
