Gena Major

Gena Major has extensive experience in safety, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across various organizations. Currently serving as Deputy Chief of Safety & Quality Assurance at MARTA since August 2016, Gena has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Assistant General Manager and Director of Quality Assurance & Configuration Management. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Continuous Improvement and Process Manager at the State Road & Tollway Authority from July 2008 to August 2016. Gena also contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics at DeKalb Technical College and held positions such as Senior Quality Engineer and Program Build Coordinator at General Motors, and Technical Project Manager at General Electric. Gena holds an MBA in Operations Management & Organizational Behavior from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Kettering University.
