Jorge Bernard

Jorge Bernard is an experienced professional with a longstanding career at MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority), serving in various capacities since 2006. Currently, as Director of Rail Services for the North South Line, Jorge Bernard is responsible for developing operating and capital budgets and overseeing the implementation of strategic programs to support the Authority's goals. Prior roles include General Superintendent, where responsibilities included budget preparation and staffing oversight, and Service Quality Superintendent, managing the Rules Compliance Program. Initial experience as a Rail Supervisor and Line Supervisor involved ensuring safe operations and conducting safety inspections while assisting patrons in both English and Spanish.
