Robert Walker

Robert Walker has extensive experience in public service and transportation, currently serving as a Professional Bus Operator at MARTA since July 2015, where responsibilities include driving a commercial passenger bus and announcing key stops. From August 2004 to June 2015, Robert provided administrative support at Tri-Cities High School, managing the daily operations of In School Suspension. Prior to that, Robert worked as a Protective Services Manager at the Atlanta Housing Authority from October 1994 to November 2004, overseeing the Central Control Center and ensuring the safety of over 50,000 residents by dispatching emergency services. Robert also has a background in corrections as a Certified Corrections Officer at Greensville Correctional Center from June 1991 to June 1994, specializing in mental health and crisis intervention. Educational credentials include a Certificate of Theology from the Interdenominational Theological Center and a B.S. in Public Administration/Economics from Virginia State University.
