Sonsia Wise

Sonsia Wise is a seasoned transit operations leader with over 15 years of experience in directing large-scale rail and station operations across major urban transit systems, including MARTA and the MTA. Currently, as the Director of Rail Services at MARTA, they oversee strategic planning and safety initiatives while managing multimillion-dollar budgets. Previously, Sonsia served as the Group Station Manager at the Metropolitan Transportation Authority and the Group Station Superintendent at New York City Transit, where they enhanced service reliability and team performance through operational efficiencies and safety initiatives. They hold an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management from Georgia State University.
