Tom Caiafa

Tom Caiafa, AICP, PMP, is currently the Director of Federal Corridors & Hubs at MARTA, where they leverage extensive experience in transportation planning and project management. Previously, as a Branch Chief at the Georgia Department of Transportation from 2017 to 2022, they led a team overseeing transportation initiatives for thirteen Metropolitan Planning Organizations. Tom has also held project management roles at insightsoftware and Jacobs, enhancing their expertise in handling complex statewide planning studies. They hold a B.S. in Public Policy from Georgia State University and a Master's in City and Regional Planning from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
