Judy Speight

Judy Speight is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in various organizations dedicated to community and social services. As the Founder and Chief Executive of Accelerating Aotearoa Inc since 2005, Judy has driven initiatives aimed at supporting local communities. Judy serves as a Trustee for both the Ōtara Waterways and Lake Trust and the ŌNAC - Ōtara Network Action Committee Trust, focusing on environmental restoration and community wellbeing. In addition, Judy holds the position of Chairman at Trust MYRIVR, which features a comprehensive directory of social services in New Zealand, and serves as a Trustee for Carers New Zealand, supporting a nationwide network of family carers. Previous leadership roles include founding Accelerating Auckland Inc, chairing TUANZ, and managing sales for SITA in New Zealand. Judy's academic background includes studies at the University of Auckland, graduating in 1980.
