Greg O'Brien

University President at ITU

Greg O'Brien has had an extensive career in higher education leadership. Greg served as the President of The Higher Education Group, Inc. since 2010 and became the University President at International Technological University (ITU) in 2015. Prior to their role at ITU, O'Brien was the President Emeritus at Argosy University and held the position of Argosy University President at Education Management Corporation. Greg also volunteered at WASC Senior College and University Commission from 2004 to 2014. O'Brien has worked as an Accreditation Consultant at Fremont College and as a consultant at Schiller International University. Before their time at Argosy University, they served as the Chancellor of the University of New Orleans from 1987 to 2003.

Greg O'Brien earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Psychology from Lehigh University from 1962 to 1965. Greg later pursued further education and received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Social Psychology from Boston University between 1966 and 1969.
