Michael Biermann

Michael Biermann has held the position of CIO at Ørsted since November 2017 and previously served in similar roles at DONG Energy and PFA Pension. Additionally, Michael is a member of the Executive Level Employers Panel and Appointment Committee at IT-Universitetet i København since March 2020 and was a Board Member of EnergiCERT from June 2020 to June 2023. This role involved contributing to the establishment of a sustainable model for security services in essential utility sectors in Denmark. Michael's extensive career includes various leadership positions at KMD, as well as advanced degrees from esteemed institutions, including IMD and the University of Copenhagen.
