Peter Sestoft is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in computer science education and research. Currently serving as a Professor and Head of the Computer Science Department at IT-Universitetet i København since September 2008, Sestoft has significantly contributed to the department's growth, expanding faculty from 26 to 62 and increasing educational programs from two to five. Prior to this role, Sestoft held professorships at the Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University and IT University of Copenhagen, as well as having served as an Associate and Assistant Professor at various institutions.
