Riko Jacob

Riko Jacob is an Associate Professor for Algorithm Engineering at the IT-Universitetet i København, where they also serve as the Head of the Theoretical Computer Science Section. With a PhD in Theoretical Computer Science from the BRICS International Ph.D. School at the University of Aarhus, Riko has held various academic positions, including Senior Scientist and Group Leader at ETH Zurich and TUM Junior Fellow at Technische Universität München. Riko's research interests span theoretical and practical aspects of computer science, particularly focusing on fine-grained models of computation and algorithms for real-world problems. They are currently co-founding a company with Anders Wind Steffensen to address account reconciliation through innovative optimization techniques.
