Sebastian Risi

Sebastian Risi is a seasoned academic and industry professional with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Currently serving as Research Manager and Co-founder at modl.ai since January 2019, Sebastian Risi also holds a professorship at IT-Universitetet i København, with a career spanning from Assistant Professor to Professor since September 2013. Prior to these roles, Sebastian Risi worked as a Machine Learning Consultant at Uber and co-founded FinchBeak LLC, which specializes in developing casual social games powered by advanced AI technology. Additional experience includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Cornell University and a position as a Software Developer at xaitment GmbH. Sebastian Risi earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the University of Central Florida in 2012.
