Andy Nicholls

Andy Nicholls is an accomplished professional in the broadcast media sector, currently serving as the Head of Operations for ITV Accessibility since November 2019. Prior to this role, Andy operated as a consultant in broadcast media from September 2017 to November 2019, working with TVT on the ITV Access contract. Andy's significant experience includes a decade as Head of Operations for UK Access and Operations Manager for Subtitling at Ericsson Broadcast and Media Services from May 2007 to July 2017. Earlier career foundations were built at BBC from June 1993 to May 2007, where various positions were held within BBC Access Services, including Operations Manager and roles in subtitling and production. Andy holds a Bachelor's Degree in German and Politics from the University of Birmingham, earned between 1981 and 1985.
