Chris Williams

Chris Williams has extensive experience in the field of Information Security, with a career spanning over three decades. Beginning at News International from May 1990 to May 2005, Chris held various positions in the Technology department, gaining expertise in Unix Server and Windows Administration, Networking, and Internet Services. From January 2009 to December 2016, Chris served as an Information Security Officer at News UK, overseeing information security strategy and compliance, particularly regarding SOX issues. Chris joined ITV in January 2017 as a CyberSecurity Manager, progressing to the role of Head of Security Risk in May 2022. Key responsibilities include managing security infrastructure, firewall operations, intrusion detection systems, and various security protocols and solutions throughout the career.
