Emma Baker

Emma Baker is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in broadcasting and news presentation. Currently serving as the Head of News for ITV Anglia since October 2022, Emma previously held various roles at ITV, including Presenter and Features Editor, where responsibilities included presenting the flagship 6pm news program and mentoring younger journalists. Emma also operated a training and communications business from January 2021 to September 2022, partnering with diverse clients and facilitating events. Earlier career milestones include freelance work for BBC Newsnight and BBC News, as well as positions at The Independent. Emma holds a degree from the University of Cambridge and a Postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from City, University of London.
