Ian Axton

Ian Axton is an accomplished media professional with extensive experience in production operations and broadcasting. Currently serving as the Head of Production Operations & Technical Management at ITV News since May 2010, Ian oversees technology strategy and production operations, managing 65 hours of content weekly across multiple regional centres. Previously, Ian held roles as Project Lead for a £33m technology initiative within ITV Nations/Regions, and as Head of News for ITV West Country, contributing to strategic planning and editorial direction within the Senior Leadership Team. Prior media experience includes founding Andover Sound Ltd, presenting ITV Meridian news programmes, and serving as Chief Executive for The Local Radio Company Ltd.
