John Mccurdy is a Doctoral student at the University of Stirling, pursuing a doctorate in Applied Social Research with a focus on Criminal Justice. They have a strong background in policing, having served as a Detective Inspector with Police Scotland, where they led complex operations aimed at crime reduction and enhancing policing outcomes. Additionally, John is currently a Lecturer in Politics at Dumfries and Galloway College and works as a Police Consultant for ITV.
