Luke Allen

Luke Allen is a data platform engineer at ITV since September 2022, where responsibilities include designing and building scalable data and machine learning platform infrastructure using AWS, Databricks, and GCP. Prior to this role, Luke served as a consultant in life sciences at TCM Capital, focusing on funding incentives for growth and innovation within the pharma, biotech, and medtech sectors. Luke also worked as a consultant in clinical science at Cambridge Cognition Plc, delivering high-quality solutions for major clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Academic credentials include a PhD in Neuroscience from University College London, an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of York, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Bedfordshire. Additionally, Luke contributed to clinical research during a postdoctoral role at University College London and undertook a visiting researcher position at the University of California, Los Angeles.
