Matt Simpson

Matt Simpson currently serves as the Head of Technology for Accessibility Services at ITV, a position held since June 2021. Prior to this, Matt worked as a consultant in the Broadcast/Media Accessibility domain at Cut and Paste Consulting from January 2020 to June 2021, assisting organizations with accessibility challenges related to online content regulations. Matt's extensive experience in access services includes a decade at Red Bee Media, where roles ranged from Head of Access Services to Technical Manager, focusing on product management and technology transformation for captioning and audio description services. Earlier career highlights at Sky included Development Manager and Project Manager roles, overseeing significant projects such as the relaunch of Sky News and the creation of the Sky News Weather system. Matt holds a BA Hons in Classics from Durham University.
