Neil Shand

Neil Shand is an experienced production professional currently serving as the Production Manager for Emmerdale at ITV since December 2021, managing daily studio and location shoots. Prior to this role, Neil held various positions, including Business & Operations Director at The Art House, where responsibilities included HR and finance management. Neil also worked at ITV from 2000 to 2015 as a 1st Assistant Director on notable shows such as Coronation Street and worked in pre-scheduling, ensuring efficient production processes. Additional experience includes roles as Production Director at The Indigenous Agency, Producer/Head of Production at Candu Media Ltd, and a brief stint as Production Manager for Hollyoaks. Neil holds a Bachelor's Degree in Drama, Film & Television combined with English Literature from York St. John University.
