Scott C.

Scott C. is an experienced data professional currently serving as a Principal Data Platform Engineer at ITV since March 2023, where Scott leads the Data Platform team. Prior experience includes a role as Lead Data Scientist at the Department for Work and Pensions from September 2020 to March 2023, where Scott coordinated the development of an AWS cloud environment for data science and built a web app for network analytics. Scott has also worked as a Data Scientist at Sky Betting & Gaming, The Oakland Group, and Waive - Intelligent Content Marketing, contributing to various data science projects and model development. Earlier roles include a doctoral researcher at the University of Sussex, where Scott focused on galaxy formation modeling, and research positions at the Max Planck Institute and University of Leeds. Scott holds a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Sussex and a combined Master and Bachelor of Science in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leeds.
