Simon Edwards

Simon Edwards has extensive experience in broadcast operations, currently serving as Broadcast Service Manager - Playout at ITV since July 2016, where responsibilities include integrating and delivering Interactive Ads and supporting business process applications. Prior to ITV, Simon worked at UTV Media from February 2000 to July 2016 in various roles including Playout Manager and Broadcast Coordinator, overseeing transmission playout and coordinating teams. Simon began in the broadcast field as a Broadcast Engineer and Technical Trainee, acquiring hands-on skills in various technical operations. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies from Ulster University and A-Levels in Mathematics, Economics, and Geology from Methodist College Belfast.
