Kathy Fields Povoas is a transaction expert, advisor, independent director, and angel investor. They serve as Vice Chair at IU Ventures and have held numerous board positions, including with Swiftly, Inc. and the America Online Giving Foundation. Kathy has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, cybersecurity, and navigating regulatory landscapes, having been a partner at Goodwin Procter LLP and JMI Equity. They currently lecture at Boston University School of Law and serve as Principal at Strategic Transaction and Compliance Consulting Services. Kathy earned a JD from Stanford University Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
