Mark Need

Mark E. Need serves as a Venture Legal Analyst In Residence at IU Ventures since September 2022. Over an extensive career, Mark has held the position of Professor and Clinical Director at Indiana University Maurer School of Law since May 2006 and founded Community Supported Art - Bloomington in July 2015, a non-profit supporting visual artists in the area. Mark previously owned One Eighteen, LLC, a commercial real estate investment and management company from July 2011 to September 2021, and also operated Suites at 118, a boutique hotel in Bloomington, until January 2020. Additionally, Mark served as a Certified Civil Mediator for the State of Indiana from July 2006 to September 2021 and was a Partner in Complex Commercial Litigation at Bose McKinney & Evans LLP from 2000 to 2005. Educational credentials include a JD from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and an MBA from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, along with a Bachelor's degree in Physics and ongoing studies at altMBA.
