Cameron Diver serves as the Vice President of Conservation Programs at Island Conservation and holds the position of Auditeur national de l’IHEDN at the Institut des hautes études de défense nationale (IHEDN). Diver is a Special Envoy for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) with Towards IPOS and is a member of the Climate Crisis Commission and the World Commission on Environmental Law with IUCN. Additional experience includes a role as Lieutenant Colonel in the Reserve Army, lecturer at the Université de la Nouvelle-Calédonie, and former Chief of Staff to Ms. Sonia Backes at Province Sud. Diver's previous positions also encompass Deputy Director-General at the Pacific Community, where leadership included climate change and sustainability initiatives. An accomplished academic, Diver's educational credentials include a PhD in Public Law, various certificates in international law, and extensive studies in law and the Pacific Islands.
