David Ebert

David Ebert is an explorer, public speaker, author, and co-host of the Beyond Jaws Podcast. They have held notable positions such as Past President of the American Elasmobranch Society and Co-Chair of the IUCN Shark Specialist Group since 2010. Currently, David serves as a Program Director and Research Faculty at Moss Landing Marine Laboratories and is a consultant for the FAO. Additionally, David founded "Lost Sharks" to inspire passion for exploration and marine discovery. They also hold honorary research associate roles at the California Academy of Sciences and the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity.
