Eric Hubbard is a Senior Technical Advisor and Consultant specializing in urban climate resilience and nature-based solutions. Currently serving as the Africa Regional Focal Point at the Urban Biodiversity Hub, they also co-lead the NATURA Network Africa Regional Team for the Global Urban NBS Roadmap. Since 2019, Eric has provided strategic support to the Mayor and Freetown City Council in Sierra Leone, notably through the #FreetownTheTreeTown campaign, aimed at planting one million urban trees to enhance biodiversity and combat climate risks.
