Geetha Ortac, PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and conservation. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Project Checkpoint since October 2019, Geetha specializes in enhancing the success of environmental and citizen science initiatives. Current roles include serving as a Commission Member for IUCN (2017-2025) and a Visitor Honorary Academic at the University of Melbourne, contributing to Master of Evaluation units. Geetha's previous positions encompass a Principal Data and Technology Officer at the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment, and roles in the Office of Environment and Heritage focusing on wildlife conservation.
