Pasqualino Tomassi

Pasqualino Tomassi serves as a Member of the Advisory Committee on Urban Nature-based Solutions and Chair of the IUCN Urban Alliance at IUCN since January 2024, focusing on urban biodiversity and sustainability in the context of climate and ecological emergencies. Since June 2023, Tomassi has held the position of Head of Strategic Projects - Mobility & Infrastructure at Ville de Lausanne, emphasizing sustainable community and urban planning. Previously, Tomassi worked as Design Director at Gensler and Brönnimann & Gottreux Architectes SA, with a strong emphasis on regenerative design and mixed-use development. With a background that includes roles at Progetto CMR and Mario Cucinella Architects, Tomassi has extensive experience in architecture and master planning, supported by a Master of Architecture degree in Urban Design and Building Design from Università degli Studi Roma TRE.
