Patrick Waeber is an accomplished conservation scientist and researcher with extensive experience in primate conservation and sustainable forest management. Currently serving as a member of the IUCN/SSC Primate Specialist Group since March 2013, Patrick contributes to monitoring species status, identifying threats, and promoting conservation actions. As a postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich since October 2012, Patrick continues to advance research initiatives, while also holding the position of Executive Editor for Madagascar Conservation & Development since 2006. Patrick previously coordinated conservation and education efforts at the Jane Goodall Institute Switzerland and has organized events for Confor West in 2010. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Forest Management and an M.Sc. in Zoology and Biological Anthropology from the University of British Columbia and the University of Zurich, respectively.
