Robin Lawson

Robin Lawson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in environmental conservation and communications. Currently serving as Program Director at Wildlife Habitat Canada since April 2025 and as President of the Canadian Committee at IUCN since January 2023, Lawson has held key leadership roles, including Vice President at IUCN. Previous experience includes Business Development Manager at the Centre for Land Conservation from April 2024 to April 2025, multiple positions at the Nature Conservancy of Canada from July 2016 to July 2022 focused on communications and engagement, and managing editorial responsibilities for Acadia University's student newspaper, The Athenaeum. Lawson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from Acadia University and has been actively involved in various student and community initiatives throughout an impressive academic and professional career.
