John Penney

John Penney serves as a Winnebago County Board Member for District 9 since December 2022, overseeing the county's budget, tax rates, and zoning matters. Concurrently, in the role of IUPAT General Representative since January 2022, responsibilities include advocacy for painters and allied trades. John has a longstanding association with Rockford Heat Basketball as Club Director since January 2004, focusing on competitive opportunities for young female athletes. Previous experience encompasses a Business Representative role at Painters District Council #30 from June 2005 to December 2021, handling contract management and resolution, and a Job Foreman position at Karl Schoening and Sons Painting and Decorating from June 1998 to June 2005, leading various painting projects.
