John Rosato

EVP, Capital Projects & Development at Ivanhoé Cambridge

John Rosato is responsible for the company's capital projects portfolio and development projects in North America. His responsibilities affect all asset classes in the company's portfolio.

Over the course of his career, John has acquired extensive expertise that he has put to good use since joining Ivanhoé Cambridge in 2013 as Vice President, Fixed Assets, Residential and Hotels. John has played a key role in several major projects for the Residential and Office platforms, North America, a role he will continue in the future.

John has been in the real estate business for 30 years. Before joining Ivanhoé Cambridge, he worked at TrizecHahn Office Properties, among others, as Director of Operations and Construction for the Quebec portfolio and, later, for the Eastern Canada portfolio, where he led brilliant number of acquisition and disposition projects for the region. In 2000, he joined the ranks of Jones Lang Lasalle where he evolved for nearly 13 years until occupying the key position of General Manager, Projects and Development for the Canadian platform, then that of interim Chief Operating Officer. where he was responsible for all Canadian operations.

John is recognized by his colleagues and partners for his very strong work ethic, his unparalleled dedication, his inspiring leadership that he puts to good use in everything he undertakes and his quality as a skilled negotiator with a global perspective of operation of buildings.

John holds a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Concordia University. He is also actively involved in the community through Centraide and BOMA.
