Doug Brooks is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. They served as Chief Actuary at Mutual Life from 1976 to 2002, followed by leadership roles at Sun Life Financial as Chief Risk Officer and Equitable Life as SVP & CFO. Currently, Doug is the President & CEO of ivari since 2015 and has been serving as the President & CEO of Transamerica Life of Canada since 2008. Since their retirement from ivari in 2018, they have remained active on the board as Vice-Chair. Doug holds a B.Math in Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo, earned in 1976.
