Ryan Watts started their professional career in 2002 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. During their time with the Peace Corps, they held the role of Lead Network Administrator and trainer for the local government of the Camara Municipal Da Ribiera Grande in Ponto Do Sol, Cape Verde. Ryan also designed and built multiple small networks for Internet Cafes and the local hospital. In 2005, Ryan joined iVenture Solutions, Inc as a Lead Project Engineer, and has been with the company since then.

Ryan Watts attended the University of Florida from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Marketing with a focus on Small Business Administration/Management. Prior to that, they attended Florida State College at Jacksonville from 1998 to 2000 and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree. Additionally, from 1996 to 1998, they attended Sinclair Community College and obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree as well.

In terms of certifications, Ryan Watts has achieved several. In 2005, they became a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCPS). In 2013, they obtained the VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification. In 2014, they earned the Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V) certification. Furthermore, they obtained the Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V) certification in 2015. Lastly, Ryan obtained the retired Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer for Virtualization certification in 2012.
