Dan Guido

Dan Guido is the Co-Founder and CEO of Trail of Bits, where since 2012, the company has focused on securing highly targeted organizations and devices through advanced security research and an attacker-driven approach. In addition to leading Trail of Bits, Dan serves as a Board Observer and Strategic Advisor for iVerify and advises multiple early-stage technology companies, including PolySwarm. Dan’s investment experience includes being an angel investor in technology startups like AlphaSOC and Everykey. Dan held the position of Co-Chair of the Subcommittee on Cybersecurity at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where guidance was provided on cybersecurity risks across emerging technologies. Dan also contributed to academia as a Hacker in Residence and Adjunct Faculty at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, shaping the cybersecurity program and mentoring students. Prior industry experience includes significant roles at iSEC Partners, the OWASP Foundation, the Federal Reserve System, and TheLadders.com. Dan is currently pursuing an OPM degree at Harvard Business School.
