Amanda Switzer

Amanda Switzer is a seasoned professional in the field of health sciences and gerontology, currently serving as a Senior Student Experience Associate at Ivey Business School at Western University since December 2023. Prior roles include Administrative Assistant for the Associate Deans in Health Sciences at Western University, and Administrative Assistant for Resident Services and Finance at Valleyview Home under the City of St. Thomas. With experience as a Professor in Retirement Residence Management at Fanshawe College and various positions focused on recreation therapy and volunteer coordination across multiple long-term care facilities, Amanda has a strong background in resident-centered care and program implementation for individuals with diverse needs. Amanda holds a Master of Arts in Gerontology from McMaster University, a certificate in Activation in Gerontology from Fanshawe College, and a Bachelor of Arts with a minor in Health Studies from Dalhousie University.
