Dusya Vera

Dusya Vera serves as the Executive Director of the Ian O. Ihnatowycz Institute for Leadership and a Professor at Ivey Business School at Western University since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as a Professor in the Department of Management and Leadership at the University of Houston from September 2018 to August 2022, along with various positions at the same institution from 2002 to 2018, culminating in the appointment of Associate Professor and Doctoral Coordinator of the Management Department. Dusya Vera also held visiting professorship roles at INALDE Business School and IDE Business School between 1998 and 2000. Prior experience in the financial sector includes serving as Vice-Director of Information Systems at Bolsa de Valores de Guayaquil. Education credentials include a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Management from Ivey Business School, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business, and a Computer Science Engineering degree from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral.
