Julie Bernard

Julie Bernard is a Professeure chercheuse adjointe at the University of Waterloo since January 2025 and currently holds a postdoctoral fellowship at Ivey Business School at Western University, focusing on scaling nature-based climate solutions through an Indigenous- and community-led Conservation Impact Bond. Bernard has previously served as a Chargée de cours at Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and obtained a PhD in management from Université Laval, where research centered on sustainable development integration and stakeholder inclusion. Additional experience includes roles in governance analysis at Groupe Investissement Responsable Inc. and research at École nationale d'administration publique. Educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree from the University of Ottawa, a certificate from Växjö University, and a Master's in international administration from ENAP.
