Advisory Board Member at Ivey Business School

Paul Atkinson is currently an advisory board member at Ivey Business School. From January 2013 to December 2019, they were the marketing director of member engagement at Info-Tech Research Group. Paul was hand-selected by the senior executive team to lead the member engagement marketing team, which consisted of five marketing managers focused on engagement and retention of the existing client base.

Atkinson worked collaboratively to segment the client base, develop detailed user personas and revamp the content marketing strategy to increase engagement and improve the overall customer experience. Paul was successful in increasing website traffic by 50% year-over-year, increasing customer engagements with analysts by 120%, and decreasing churn from 21% to 18%.

From January 2012 to December 2012, Atkinson was the office coordinator at Facebook. Facebook was founded in 2004 with the mission to give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together. Over 2 billion people use Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or Messenger every month to stay connected with friends and family, to discover what’s going on in the world, and to share and express what matters to them.

Paul Atkinson has an HBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University and a certification in digital marketing from BrainStation. Paul is currently a visiting student in business at WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business).
