Prashant Chintapalli

Prashant Chintapalli is an Assistant Professor at Ivey Business School at Western University since August 2021, previously serving as an Assistant Professor in Production and Operations Management at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore from June 2018 to April 2022. Prashant pursued a PhD in Decisions, Operations and Technology Management at UCLA Anderson School of Management, completing the degree in 2018 with a dissertation focusing on social responsibility in supply chains within emerging economies. Prior research experience includes a role as a Research Fellow at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, specializing in inventory management, pricing, and revenue management. Additional industry experience includes positions as a Senior Applications Engineer and Applications Engineer at Oracle India and technical roles at Juno Online Services. Prashant holds an M.Sc. and B.E. in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Research interests encompass supply chain management, business service procurement, and supply networks.
