Jacob A.

Jacob A. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Their most recent position is as a Cyber Security Consultant at iVision, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at National Air Cargo, Inc. where they served as a System Architect and Cyber Security Engineer from July 2021 to November 2022, and as a Systems Engineer from December 2019 to July 2021. During their time at National Air Cargo, Inc., Jacob managed security teams, developed and documented cloud and on-premise solutions, and implemented cybersecurity and information security policies.

Before their role at National Air Cargo, Inc., Jacob worked as a Systems Administrator at National Fuel Gas Company from October 2017 to December 2019, where they led backup and storage administration and successfully migrated the ticketing system to Service Now.

Prior to that, Jacob held positions as a Senior Systems Administrator at Nervve from October 2014 to June 2017, where they managed network devices and conducted systems security and administration functions, and as a Systems Administrator/Technology Consultant at Quad-B Systems from February 2014 to September 2014, where they maintained clients' systems and provided technology solutions.

Jacob also gained experience in the IT industry as a Lead Helpdesk Technician at Intratek Computer Inc. from August 2013 to February 2014, where they troubleshooted computer issues and integrated software to decrease call times. Jacob also worked as a Tier 2 Helpdesk Technician at Synergy Global from May 2013 to August 2013.

Lastly, Jacob has military experience as an Abrams Crewman in the US Army from June 2005 to January 2012.

In terms of additional certifications, Jacob A. obtained the Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals from Microsoft in November 2022. Jacob also earned the Tech Data - IBM Spectrum Protect 7 Advanced Admin certification from IBM in December 2017.
