David Rose

David Rose has held a number of executive roles in the technology and digital sector since 2007. From 2007-2008, they were the Executive Manager at Suncorp, where they led the team and engagement with the Banking Executive and Management for technology solutions and projects. From 2008-2011, they were the Chief Information Officer at Macarthur Coal, where they led all aspects of technology with a small team. In 2011, they were the Chief Executive Officer at GG Technologies, where they initiated a start-up to disrupt the pallet manufacturing industry with recycled plastic pallets. From 2011-2013, they were the Chief Information Officer at Watpac Limited, where they led all aspects of technology with a particular focus on innovation. From 2017-2020, they were the Chief Information Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Opteon, where they led the strategy for all technology and digital and migrated services to AWS from on-premises. From 2017-2022, they were the Director at R4 Investments and the Chief Information Officer, Chief Operating Officer & Executive Director at Vault Intelligence Ltd, where they were responsible for corporate governance, strategy, operations, product management, technology decisions and direction, business development, sales, marketing and contracts. From 2020-2023, they were the Chief Global Partnerships (APAC) at Damstra Technology, where they were responsible for engagement with and support of partners across APAC. Currently, they are the Chief Operating Officer at iVvy, a cloud-based global event and venue management platform. David is also a Non Executive Director at Wesley Mission Queensland.

David Rose has a diverse educational background. David completed a MSc in Operations Research & Statistics from UNSW in 1997-1998. David then went on to pursue an MBA (Executive) from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, which they completed in 2007. In 2022, they are expected to complete a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, which focuses on Governance.
