Oran McLean has held various roles in the corporate industry since 1997. Oran began their career at Bank of New Zealand as a Branch Manager, Sales Support Executive, and Area Sales Manager. In 2004, they moved to Telecom New Zealand as a Call Center Manager HCV/Premium. From 2007 to 2008, Oran was the National Sales Manager - Sales Direct at Westpac NZ. In 2012, they took on the role of Programme Manager at Accor AdvantagePlus. From 2013 to 2014, they were the MIT at Michael Hill. Most recently, Oran was the Global Head of Support & Asia Pacific Region Sales & Retention, Global Sales & Client Services Manager, and Customer Service Manager at iVvy Pty Ltd.

Oran McLean attended Benton Park and Pakuranga College.
